This highly sought after programme includes free Solace membership for a year, invitations to several exclusive Solace events, an independent mentor, a small programme of one-day workshops and other shadowing and learning opportunities.
Total Leadership is a unique development programme for senior executive leaders working within the public service sector or with the private sector, who are looking to take the next step in their career. The programme is developed in conjunction with INLOGOV and is sponsored by the LGA, the national voice of local government.
Over the course of 12 months you can expect to work with high-calibre facilitators and speakers, experience unique opportunities to engage with prominent leaders in the public service sector, and to participate a programme that has been designed to broaden your knowledge, challenge your ways of thinking, and futureproof your leadership approach.
By the end of the programme, you will not only have a better understanding as to whether you’re ready to be a Chief Executive, but you will also be able to confidently apply key transformational leadership skills within your organisation.
Ignite is our leadership programme designed to enable local government Chief Executives to further develop their understanding of their roles in an increasingly complex environment.
Over approximately 9 months, cohorts of around 12 Chief Executives to work through their individual and system leadership challenges together.
The programme is supported by the Local Government Association, and delivered in partnership with Collaborate CIC.
Coaching & Mentoring Practitioner Programme
Our Executive Coach Practitioner Programme is a nine-day programme delivered in partnership with Developing Success, and is accredited by EMCC as part of it’s coaching offer.
One of the things that makes this programme stand out from the crowd is the amount of contact time we offer trainee coaches, both in understanding the theory, and applying it practically to their coaching.
The combination of the large amount of skills practice on the course, coupled with powerful personal development will give you a point of difference in this increasingly competitive industry.
Certificate & Diploma in Leadership & Management
Offering options for both aspiring and senior leaders, the ILM Certificate and Diploma in Leadership and Management aim to develop practical skills and strategic thinking.
Both Level 5 and Level 7 participants will gain valuable experience in working on and improving organisational issues, growing and developing as leaders and managers.
The certificate programme lasts for around 6 months and the diploma around a year. Both programmes can be delivered for an individual authority or public sector organisation, as an open programme or for an individual participant, through a blended approach.
Effective Coaching & Mentoring
The Solace ILM Level 5 & 7 Certificate and Diploma programmes in Coaching and Mentoring are ideal qualifications for managers with significant responsibilities for coaching and mentoring as part of their everyday roles, for those considering moving into a development role or those who would like to become a qualified coach or mentor.
As with the majority of our programmes, both our Level 5 programme in Effective Coaching and Mentoring and our Level 7 programme for Executive Senior Level Coaches & Mentors can be delivered individually or inhouse.
