About the EMCC Coaching Programme (Equivalent to ILM Level 5)

This nine-day Executive EMCC Accredited Practitioner Coaching Programme is designed to be a powerful and experiential programme, for people who quickly want to accelerate their coaching experience and skill in an environment conducive to rich learning and development.

Our professional programme holds a European Quality Award assuring you that it meets rigorous standards, equivalent to ILM Level 5.

There is also the option to gain your European Individual Accreditation award (EIA), to Practitioner level.. This is a well-recognised accreditation in the coaching industry.

One of the things that makes our programme stand out from the crowd is the amount of contact time we offer trainee coaches, both in understanding the theory, and applying it practically to their coaching.

In addition, we believe that the large amount of skills practice on the course, coupled with powerful personal development gives you a point of difference in this increasingly competitive industry.

Programme Aims & Benefits

The programme aims to develop highly competent and confident business and personal coaches, fully prepared with the knowledge, skills, and accreditations that they will need to work independently or as an advanced coaching resource within an organisation.

It is designed to develop a sound understanding of coaching, encompassing classic coaching models and more specialist and highly relevant concepts relating to coaching in organisational systems, coaching leaders and a range of behavioural change methodologies.

A specific element of the programme is to train participants in Gestalt and Transactional Analysis approaches to coaching, and to develop skills in applying psychological theories and methodologies.

Additional programme benefits:

  • Developing self-awareness and awareness of your presence and impact, enabling you to work with the psychological and relational aspects of coaching
  • Providing a holistic understanding of personal coaching style enabling delegate to develop a ‘signature’ style to their coaching
  • Creating a close-knit network of coaches who have journeyed together through the course and who can continue to draw on each other for support, co-consultancy and learning

What to & expect

All workshops will include:

  • Live coaching demonstrations – bringing the course content to life

What our clients say

“highly skilled and competent coaches, trainers and facilitators as well as professional, responsive and committed to organisation needs.”

“Rebecca and Sue delivered a number of post graduate year long and foundation level accredited 5-day coach training and train the trainer programmes for our trust over a 3 year period. They are both highly skilled and competent coaches, trainers and facilitators as well as professional, responsive and committed to organisation needs. The deeper psychological approach (being as well as doing) to coaching that Sue and Rebecca teach and model was different to many other coaching programmes we considered which were focused purely on coaching skills. This was important in supporting our organisation to bring about positive culture change.”

—OD Lead, Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University NHS Trust

“Sue has enabled a personal transformation in me through her careful questioning, use of techniques and brilliant timing which has allowed me to find a number of ‘aha’ moments.”

“Sue has been my trainer and coach on both a foundation level coaching course and inspired me to progress to the PG Certificate Executive and Business Coaching Programme. Sue is a great trainer; able to explain complex psychological concepts as well as hold a room of delegates with apparent ease. Sue brings her warmth and authenticity to individuals she works with, having the courage to share her own vulnerabilities in the interests of the delegates development. Sue has enabled a personal transformation in me through her careful questioning, use of techniques and brilliant timing which has allowed me to find a number of ‘aha’ moments.”

—Senior Pharmacist, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

“I was able to reach a position where I could move forward with confidence- as a consequence my coaching experience has left me in both a happier and more professionally rewarding place”

“I would highly recommend Rebecca as a coach. She worked with me at a significant crossroads in my career and was able to help me more fully understand the position I was in and explore the basis for making decisions about my next steps. My coaching relationship with her was one in which I felt very supported but also appropriately and intelligently challenged about the approach I was currently adopting.

Most importantly, I was able to reach a position where I could move forward with confidence- as a consequence my coaching experience has left me in both a happier and more professionally rewarding place.”

—Director, Oldham Council
