Alix Bedford is a strategic risk professional with over 18 years’ experience working both with and within the public sector, starting her career as a Strategic Risk Consultant before spending 7 years as the lead officer for risk and performance management at a Unitary Local Authority.

Alix’s current role at Zurich Municipal involves looking at the key emerging and evolving areas of risk impacting the public sector now and in the future, talking to risk professionals within the sector about the challenges facing their organisations and working within Zurich to ensure their risk proposition enables their customers to understand and manage these risks effectively. This work has led to Alix leading on Sustainability internally and externally at Zurich Municipal, with particular focus on Climate, Workforce and Data sustainability areas.
