Claire Harvey, Quality Improvement Officer with Glasgow City Council, is part of the team delivering the biggest Apple education programme in Europe to early years centres, primary schools and secondary schools across the city. The Digital Learning Strategy has a relentless focus on enhancing learning and teaching in the classroom through technologies and ensuring equity for all learners.

With over 20 years working in a senior leadership role in education both at local authority level and nationally, her skills in leading teams and delivering positive outcomes are greater than her knowledge of technologies. Her commitment to this transformational change is through her understanding of why it is essential we empower Glasgow’s young people to be confident, successful and responsible in a digital world, enabling and enhancing digital communication, collaboration and creation across all areas of learning.
