Ruth specialises in coaching future and senior leaders in the public and charity sectors to increase their career satisfaction and balance their professional and personal goals.

Her approach focuses on helping her clients identify their career ambitions and achieve them through greater self-awareness and overcoming the self-limiting beliefs and behaviours that hold them back. She creates an opportunity for individuals to understand who they truly are and what they want and need from their work and she supports them in bringing this about.

Ruth is experienced in facilitating senior leadership assessment centres and brings a pragmatic approach to her coaching often supporting clients through the recruitment process as well as making an effective transition into their new role.

Ruth’s significant experience of leadership and personal development spans over 25 years including senior HR and OD roles. She understands the complexity and pace of public and social sector leadership and has designed and led corporate leadership development and talent programmes, facilitated organisational change, implemented corporate coaching programmes and provided individual, group and team coaching.

Ruth provides executive coaching for Chief Executives and other senior leaders on behalf of Solace. She also provides bespoke leadership development and executive coaching programmes; her current corporate clients include two police forces, a large Multi-Academy Trust and a University Hospital.

Ruth holds an MSc in Policy Studies, Diploma in Human Resource Management, NTL Certificate in Organisational Development, ILM 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, Certificate in Career Counselling (CCS), Certificate in Management and Certificate in Management Consulting; she has also trained as an Insights Discovery coach.

She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), OD Practitioner (NTL), JCA Global Emotional Intelligence Coach and Image Consultant. Ruth chaired the Thames Valley CIPD Coaching and Mentoring Group from 2017 -2021 and is a Member of the Association for Coaching; she also supports a social enterprise dedicated to building capacity in the charity sector.
