Suzanne Dodd is an accomplished Local Government Lawyer and Monitoring Officer and has worked in the public sector for approximately 20 years. She is also currently a City Solicitor and Monitoring Officer for the largest city in the country. Suzanne is passionate about public service and has led many change programmes throughout her career, with a passion for public services and making a difference.

Suzanne has spent the last 20 years working for 5 local authorities in predominantly senior roles leading change programmes which have produced excellent outcomes for the organisations and residents.

Her passion for public services and justice extends to mentoring others and leading on Equality and Diversity issues. Suzanne Dodd is responsible for managing the L&G function at BCC with over 250 members of staff and 101 Elected Members.
