‘The Housing Crisis: Providing Solutions to Meet Demand’

Local Authorities and Housing Associations are currently facing one of their biggest challenges to date. The need to deliver the required number of homes, at the right time, and for the right price which requires organisations to work with partners across all sectors on developing innovative local solutions to increase housing supply and meet the ever growing demand for affordable housing.

Acting as both a direct provider and as an enabler of private and social housing, Local Authorities are uniquely placed to step up to this challenge. This masterclass will offer insights on the likely impacts of the Government’s housing policy proposals and different models of development delivery and asset management, and it will explore a range of housing options for localities. You will also be presented with two case studies who will share their best practice.
